We support local governments and enterprises on their waste management
strategies and selecting/installing necessary machines.
We also help create new business models and establish operations overseas.
Since 2013, we have been working on a feasibility study regarding municipal solid waste production, collection and treatment facilities in Denpasar (Bali, Indonesia).
This project was supported and funded by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) and Japan’s ODA (Official Development Assistance).
In 2017, we implemented and tested the effects of a waste treatment plant designed to reduce the volume of unsorted waste.
All waste is currently dumped in landfills leading to odor and environmental issues such as land and sea pollution.
There is an urgent need to change this situation in terms of financial and environmental sustainability.
We proposed solutions in close cooperation with governments, corporations, and NGOs based in both Indonesia and Japan.
Since 2015, we have been converting food waste from cooking school lunches in an elementary school to organic fertilizer in Kisarazu city (Chiba prefecture, Japan).
Through this project, we conducted a survey on the practicality of the organic fertilizer liquid, and held classes for the children about food and environmental issues with the aim of creating a small-scale example of a circular economy.
Our next step will be to plan and implement a small-scale agricultural project, in cooperation with local producers, that uses the liquid fertilizer generated from our methane fermentation equipment.
We plan and implement environmental strategies promoting the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle), thereby reducing CO2 emissions at large music/sport events.
The “ap bank fes” is one of the annual events that we have been supporting, where we design ways to reduce waste and ensure waste management operations meet their recycling goals.
During the event, we operate scales and visualize any waste produced to prevent any unnecessary waste.
We also support event vendors with mandatory environmental reports.
